Congratulations to poet, author, gallery owner, and PACYA advisory board member Richard Michelson on being named the 6th Poet Laureate of Northampton, Massachusetts, USA — considered by many to be a mecca for poets and children’s authors and illustrators. Richard’s term will run from 2012 to 2014. His predecessor in the role is Lesléa Newman, also a PACYA member. Click here for more information about this amazing honor.
